The Copenhagen Brands First Season With Number Six.
Collection Feature: Le Fix SS17. With an impressive home audience & designs that are hard not to love, Le Fix are on the fast track to streetwear domination. Started in 1999, and now expanding across clothing, tattoo, art and woodwork. Le Fix clearly have an eye for the finer things, and this is readily apparent in their SS17 collection. With a respectable list of past collabs with the likes of Universal Works, Rains & Clarks Originals stacking up, these guys are putting in the work and it's paying off. This being the debut season of Le Fix at Number Six, we had to make it a memorable one. Let's take a closer look.
Ticking All The Right Boxes.
A prominent inspiration for the current collection and the brand as a whole, is sportswear gems of the last 3 decades. A nostalgic throwback to tracksuits, bucket hats, and trainers. Block panels, pastel hues, subtle branding, considered design features and a casual fit. Nothing out of place on a 90's football terrace. What's great about these pieces is that unlike many streetwear brands, the quality of the garment has not been compromised. Manufacturing has not merely been an afterthought, but an integral aspect of each item. That is just one reason why we admire and support this brand so much (and why you should too!).The Standout Le Fix Pieces.
One of the most striking pieces, that really personifies what Le Fix are all about, would be the Block Turtleneck. Cut from 3 separate materials and stitched together to create the paneling. This is testimony to the brand not wanting to cut corners and opt for the cost effective printed method. This piece features a nice little roll neck, for that iconic turned up collar look of football casuals. Finished off with a simple logo tab on the chest. Not sold on a long sleeve turtleneck? Fear not, we've got the Division Hood, with its contrasting arm stripes and strategically placed logo on the rear of the hood. A simple pullover hoody with a generous fit. Or there's the quilted Thermo Jacket, classic bomber styling made from a lightweight, insulated fabric. In place for the wearer to have adjustability over the back panel, there is a concealed velcro strap on the rear of the body. A sneaky yet practical touch that you never knew you needed.
