Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Universal Works have done it again. Delivering another unique collection, David Keyte and his team have merged their passion for classic styles and sustainably sourced fabrics, with a forward-thinking design aesthetic.
“It's a place where the sun always shines, a place where there are NO BAD DAYS.”
So, to make your life that little bit easier, we've put together an edited selection of a few of our favourite pieces from the SS19 collection.
Straight out of the gate, we're served a dose of much-needed vitamin D with pieces like the Zip Neck Sweatshirt in Sunshine, as seen below. It's a new style for the current season and is a comfortable alternative to a standard crew neckline. The Zip Neck Sweatshirt offers a traditional sportswear track top vibe with a quarter-zip neck, a loose fit, and contemporary details like a welt pocket at the chest and shallow ribbing at the cuffs and hem.
Always approaching their work with passion and excitement, Universal Works has an innate ability to produce high-quality clothing that never fails to impress. Endless coastal vibes and Wes Anderson-esque movie sets are evident throughout. The Road Shirts are a staple silhouette from the brand's archives, and this season they've hit the nail on the head.
“Straight from the set of The Talented Mr. Ripley, this boxy, loose and slightly cropped silhouette is summer in a shirt. Featuring a concealed top button and simple chest pocket, the Road Shirt takes inspiration from the minimalist continental styles of the 50s.”
Continuing with the timeless favourites, the Fatigue Pants are back for another round. SS19 fabrics include a
light olive twill and a rich, versatile
navy. With the landscape of a sun-drenched Italy in mind, you can't go wrong by pairing these trousers with the
MW Fatigue Jacket for some proper smart-casual steeze.
Long-term favourites of both
Number Six staff and customers alike, the SS19
