Introducing an absolute treat of a boot, the result of a collaboration between Grenson, “England’s Master Shoe Makers since 1886,” and those fine purveyors of menswear and casuals fashion, Number Six London. Inspired from an old American Work boot, this fully calf lined apron-fronted Gibson boot is made from brown Scotch grain calf, hand-burnished up to 3 times. Brass eyelets have been used with 2 ski hook fastenings as well, and it has a natural leather welt with a white light weight vibram sole. You won’t find this boot anywhere else but Number Six. Made in Northampton, England, there have been a very limited number of these boots produced. Somewhat of a labour of love over the past year, these have been in the pipeline for a while. Now they’re on the shop floor, it’s time for their official unveiling. The wait’s been worthwhile – from the images it’s clear to see Grenson and Number Six have done a sterling job together. Hats off to them. This is one gem of a boot.
