Introducing an absolute treat of a boot, the result of a collaboration between Grenson
, “England’s Master Shoe Makers since 1886,” and those fine purveyors of menswear and casuals fashion, Number Six London
. Inspired from an old American Work boot, this fully calf lined apron-fronted Gibson boot is made from brown Scotch grain calf, hand-burnished up to 3 times. Brass eyelets have been used with 2 ski hook fastenings as well, and it has a natural leather welt with a white light weight vibram sole.
You won’t find this boot anywhere else but Number Six. Made in Northampton, England, there have been a very limited number of these boots produced. Somewhat of a labour of love over the past year, these have been in the pipeline for a while. Now they’re on the shop floor, it’s time for their official unveiling. The wait’s been worthwhile – from the images it’s clear to see Grenson and Number Six have done a sterling job together. Hats off to them. This is one gem of a boot.
