What Shipping & Delivery Methods Do you Use?For Number Six web and telephone orders placed before 12 noon on a business day, the orders will be dispatched that same day. Orders placed after 12noon are despatched on the next business day, provided full payment being received and is dependant on stock availability. Tracking numbers are provided with all shipments and can be tracked online with Royal Mail's Track & Trace service. Deliveries are subject to delays due to the involvement of a third party delivery service and delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed.
- UK Deliveries
All Number Six orders despatched within mainland UK are sent using Royal Mail's 1st Class Signed For service, at a standard charge of £4.95 and are delivered Monday to Friday, excluding bank and public holidays. Once fully processed, we aim to deliver all UK mainland orders within approximately 3 business days.
- International Deliveries
Orders despatched Internationally are shipped using a Royal Mail International Signed For Delivery service. Deliveries to Europe mainland are charged at £11.95 and to all other worldwide destinations at £18.95. International deliveries take approximately 3-10 local business days excluding bank and public holidays. Delivery's made outside the European Union are subject to delays that may be incurred as items go through your country's Customs & Excise are liable to local customs and import taxes and duties. These are decided on a case by case basis by your own government at the point of entry to your country, and are outside of our control. We do however send all orders in non branded packaging.
Whats Your Returns Policy?
Number Six are happy to offer a full refund or an exchange on all website and telephone orders within 7 days period from the date the goods are received, for orders made within the UK. For International orders, the returns period is extended to 14 days from the date the goods are received. Please note, all items must be returned in their original, re-saleable condition, with all tags attached. Number Six does not cover return postage however, in the case of an exchange, we will resend the item(s) free of charge.
How Can I Return An Order & Exchange?
To return an item please email email@example.com to request a returns form stating your intention. We will respond within 24 hours with a returns form attached. Once you have received the form, please complete and return along with the goods to the address below. On the returns form you will be able to detail if you wish to exchange the the items or if you would like a refund.Returns

All returns should be sent by registered post or recorded delivery and must be securely packaged. Number Six will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to items being returned. Your rights to return the goods are protected under E.U. Distance Selling Directive (which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm). Once we have received the goods and are happy with their condition, we will despatch the exchange or issue a refund via your original payment method (credit/debit card or PayPal account) excluding any original shipping costs, within 7 working days.
What if the Item Im after Is Out Of Stock?
We try to give accurate stock information when you place your order, but as we don't (as yet) run a live stock update system, when stock gets low we can't promise we will have what you ordered. We do update the stock availability on the site every day, so if your order is urgent then please do call us in the store, and we'll be more than happy to double check availability.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. All the information that you provide to Number Six including your email address, delivery address and credit card details are strictly private and confidential. Number Six acknowledges that we are bound by the Data Protection Act 1998 and that we will not disclose your details to any third party without your express written consent. As a matter of good practice, we do not share any of our customer’s personal information with anyone else and we do not sell it on to others.
Security Checks - Why Is My Order On Hold?
Proof of identification may be required due to high levels of Internet and credit card fraud. In the case of a security check, we require an official document which can confirm the customers billing information and confirm the status of account holder. This can be in the form of a billing document or a Passport/Driving license etc. (Any information the customer deems to be sensitive can be covered, Number Six simply needs to see the customers address and name, and be able to verify the document as authentic). These security measures protect online businesses and the online shopper.
Can You Offer A Price Match?
Number Six London offer a comprehensive price matching service. We work hard to offer our products at a reasonable price and stick to the prices determined by our suppliers. However, if you happen to find a product cheaper at another online retailer we will be more than happy to price match. Please follow the below criteria:
The item must be full price and not subject to any promotion or sales offers.
The item must be available for everyone to buy. We will match the price shown online, not including any additional promotional / member discounts or codes.
The item to be price matched has to be identical to the one listed at Number Six, and currently in-stock on the website.
We will only price match UK registered companies at this time.
Although we are more than happy to do so in almost all situations, we do reserve the right not to alter our listed price.
Price matches can not be offered after goods have been purchased.
