Born in 1866, Green and Son launched themselves into the world of Cobblery with the invention of the Goodyear Welting, which sophisticated the shoe-making process by enabling shoes to become ventilated, durable and strong. Even though Grenson’s history lies in building shoes for British soldiers in WW2 a turning point in the industry allowed them to focus on beauty and craftsmanship before navigating towards something modern and accessible for the younger generation. Their particular styling and hand made detailing has led them to global success and with a growing popularity amongst a younger audience, they believe that in many ways they are entering the most exiting part of their journey.
