  • Paradise Found, Vanishing Elephant, Suit, NN07 & Garbstore

A new month and some new garments. With Easter upon us an extra long weekend is in store for us and however you plan to spend it we've got pieces for every occasion.

Aloha is the perfect word to describe this range of shirts from Paradise Found. A wonderful selection of Calla Lilly and Hibiscus shirts that take you back to the warm welcoming days of Hawaii in the 1930's and 1940's. These could not be more ideal for those long, warm summers days. The shirts have all over flower pattern which is one of the most authentic versions of the island's favourite designs. Including a slightly tamer white on white design, these are a Tom Selleck favourite, need we say anymore??

Just incase you couldn't get enough of the Vanishing Elephant gear we got in a few weeks ago we've added a new piece in the form of a Maroon Pattern Arylide Overshirt. Made from a relatively thick and soft 100% maroon cotton and featuring a shirt collar with an all over contrasting knit pattern really gives this item a warm feel for those cooler evenings. With button fastening, left chest patch pocket, two large hip patch pockets, button cuffs and brown elbow patches.

Another update to a range, this time its Suit. With a couple of brilliant yet simple, lightweight, everyday Earl jackets and sturdy, 100% cotton Diego shirts. Both smart enough for any Easter Sunday meal round your Grans and warm enough to see you through the dip in temperature. To complete the look we've also got in some simple, classic Chinos available in a variety of colours alongside some Berlin tees so you can be entirely Suit'd and booted!

Casual everyday shorts are just what is needed to be stocked up on this time of year and once you buy these timeless pieces you probably won't need to stock up again next year (Unless you want to of course)! The main focus for the new items we've got hold of from NN07 is the Larry and Will shorts, it says it all in the name, relaxed designs both with their own different touches that Ulrik and Lindh would like to wear, simple as that.
If you aren't quite feeling brave enough to don the shorts yet then don't worry we've got James Raw jeans, Japanese selvedge denim, woven on old style shuttle looms that could be more suited to you. Completing your lot from NN07 this week is a a piece that shows that they aren't driven by what trend is the flavour of the month, a youthful yet classic styled Lenny sweat in red. A quality crew neck that has ribbed neck with V insert, cuffs and hem and the NN07 logo badge to the lower left above the hem.

What an item to finish on. Gazing out of our shop window, or any window where you are now, we think you can agree (and we dont want to say the 'R' word) but showers do look inevitable so what better way to re-lift your spirits then with this outstanding and vibrant Purple GI Parka from Garbstore. Bringing colour to those greyer days an old classic given a new lease of life.

    Hello again!

The clocks have gone forward, the longer evenings are upon us and life is good at the old ship! We may have lost an hours sleep last weekend but we're not complaining. To make things even better we've got new additions to some of your favourite brands in store.

First in this week we've got some garments from the brand that combines archetypal vintage European looks with America's renowned relaxed style, Hartford. With a load of summer weight Jive jacketsJules blazers and one piece that really caught our eye, and would, we are sure, catch almost anyones eye! If floral is your cup of tea, then we've just popped the kettle on. The Jones jacket is a light weight blazer made from a coated 100% cotton and could be just what you've been searching for all your life!
Of course no summer wardrobe would be complete without Gingham boxer swim shorts. For lazy days by the pool or trips to the seaside these just work. Completing the new arrivals is a vintage American inspired, easy-to-wear, cotton Pelican Surf Club tee.

From Adidas we are pleased to bring you more from the ongoing collaboration between themselves and Ransom Holding Co. in the form of the revamped Pier. This season the Pier has taken on a new espadrille outsole construction, a lightweight canvas upper with tonal laces and raw brass eyelets, a brown leather tongue badge and a subtle logo to the outer heel making this a great choice for the warmer spring/summer weather.
Also in addition to the Adidas Original ZX 500s we brought to you a couple of weeks back we now have the Pool and White classic running shoes

Ralph Lauren just keep on giving this season (and there was us thinking the season for giving was the last month of every year! Again, we're not complaining!) with a new cotton blazer that gives a modern and casual touch to a formal classic. With all the elements of a traditional sports coat as well as proving to be a breathable and comfortable option.
Alongside the classy blazer Ralph can boast new nubuck Lars Saddle shoes. A modern update to a very classic design from the prepmeister available in two different colour ways.

In recent weeks its become a bit of a tradition to end on footwear, so why make this week any different? We find it kind of fitting as, well, your feet are at the bottom of your body so it makes sense, right? No? just us then. This time round we bring you some wear for the feet from Pointer, who aim to appeal to everyone and draw inspiration from everything. Whether it be street wear or music or art they cover it all. This inspiration shines through in a new range that includes AFD trainers (available in four different colour ways including a forest camo) Holden and Saha II smart/casual shoes andTenzing lightweight hiking shoes.

Unfortunately thats all for this week but we will be back next week, catering for your apparel needs.
